How to automate the JIRA On Demand backup. Is it possible to do it?

William August 18, 2013

Hi everyone!

Since I started using JIRA On Demand, my big issue was about doing the backup manually.

Now, I have a significative data amount in the Cloud and more and more users started using JIRA. So, it's healthy to create an automatic backup routine.

I'd like to know if is it possible to do it in both systems, JIRA and Confluence On Demand?

Thanks

no built-in way to do this in OnDemand, you can do it by using script, check this doc

vote up here to implement this feature

Hi Rambanam,

Have you ever tried to execute this script before? I've been facing some problems with it, you know, it was built for Linux (.sh) and I use Windows.

I tried to convert it, but I got a lot of error messages.

Any idea?
