How to automate dashboard creation with different projects?

I have created a dashboard with certain filters from one project. I will now like to create a script that copies this dashboard and creates duplicate filters with same configurations but a different project (provided as input by the use executing the script) for each filter, and then use these newly created filters on the copied dashbord.

Would this be possible?
