How to allow external users restricted access to a kanban board without counting against user limit

We are 3 people in our company and we are struggling with the 10 user limit of the basic jira subscription. We need to allow our customers to create issues, view the kanban board and comment on issues for jira to be useful. We are now creating jira-users for each customer but we need to enable and disable them frequently in order to work.

The 25 user license is too expensive for us right now.

Is there a way to allow customers to do these things without counting against the user limit?

No, you need to login as a Software user to see a Kanban board.
