How to add pictures to a Request Type?

Edwin Chong January 31, 2017

When editing a Request Type, I'd like to add a photo to show the customers.

Can't find documentation on how to do this. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

This might not be exactly what you need but you can change the request type icon: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/blog/2016/02/custom-request-type-icons-are-here

Thanks Gerry but no. That's adding a picture for the Portal's icon.

When creating a new Request Type in Service Desk, how to add Attachment field?

As Fields need to be added to Screen, how do I add Attachment field to a new screen??

Can't find in Help.

Ah.. you need to add the attachment field to the request type via project settings. If you can't find it, you need to first add the field to the create screen associated with the request type's issue type (more details).

Note that this adds the attachment field to the portal request creation. If the customer wants to attach a picture after request is created he/she can do that via the comment box.
