How can I add Hipchat window to the JIRA dashboard?

Hey,

There is a "dirty" workaround available to achieve this.

Use the free Custom Content Plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.tngtech.jira.plugins.customcontent.jira-gadget-custom-content). The plugin lets you add a web-page to your JIRA Dashboard so add your HipChat-url to it: https://<your-domain>.hipchat.com/chat

You will get the HipChat side-bars and so as well. It works nice and should probably solve your issue.

Hi there,

The HipChat integration with JIRA is retricted to notifications at transitions. Currently there isn't a way to add HipChat as a gadget in a dashboard.
