Hello
I'm using JIRA cloud standard (Unfortunately..) and my role is site admin.
For company internal purpose, I need 2 child issue type.
After creating a child issue type, no new child issues type will be created.
I can't find any settings regarding the number of child issues type, is it true that only one child issue type can be used? or it's one of limitation of JIRA cloud standard?
If anyone knows about this, please let me get your comment about this.
Best regards,
JaeHoon
Hi @김재훈 _Jaehoon Kim_ ,
When saying 'child issues types', are we talking about standard issue types (level 0) or sub-task issue types (level -1)? You can see the issue type level if you navigate to Settings > Issues > Issue types.
As far as I know, there are not any limitations when it comes to the number of standard issue types or sub-tasks on any plan (e.g., this is on my private instance, free plan, and I can create an unlimited number of standard and sub-task issue types).
Only on Premium and Enterprise plans you can have issue types on levels above Epic, so hierarchy levels 2, 3 and such.
Cheers,
Tom
Thanks for your information.
with your feedback, I add sub-task issue type (Level -1) in JIRA setting - Issue.
But it's not reflecting in actaul project.
When I trying to add issue type, it show as below
And after issue type created, there is no setting to change the issue type's hierachy level.
Thank you again to your interest on my question and if you have any other hint, please let me get it.

I create a new project with company managed, then it could be configuratable.
Thank you.

@김재훈 _Jaehoon Kim_ great!
Apologies from my side as I forgot to point out that multiple sub-tasks aren't yet supported in team-managed projects. Here's a feature suggestion you can vote on and watch to see the progress: JSWCLOUD-20901
