How to access fields in the action menu?

How to access fields in the action menu?

In JIRA Server it was able to access fields via the action menu (opend by pressing . ).
In JIRA Cloud there is no result if I'm typing the name of a field.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi @Patrick Weegen and welcome to the community,

No you are not doing anything wrong. Pressing the . on cloud can only search for actions and not for custom fields. This functionality is only on server/DC

just stumbled across the thread.
Are there any plans for this feature to come back in the cloud? It just made working so much easier and faster.

Thanks, just voted and commented on the issue. But I think Atlassian is again dropping beloved functionality and trying to reinvent the wheel but making the user experience much worse with it.
