Hello Team,
Currently we are using JIRA Version 7.0.10
We started out project in Jira called "Project A" We configured corresponding board as "PRO-A".
We have completed 8 sprints.
We realize now that instead of "Project A", all this info should have been part of "Project B" project and corresponding board should have been "PRO-B".
How do we move all "Project A" related info to "Project B" project? If not possible through front end, can it be done in back end?
Thanks!
Run a search for the issues you need to move
Select "bulk edit" from the tools menu in the issue navigator (the results screen from the search)
Select "move" from the list, and choose Project B as the target

Your projects are configured differently. You'll need to re-configure the target project so that it supports the fields you are losing, or accept that the data will be lost.
For the assignee data, you should temporarily include the source project users in the "assignable user" permission while the move is done, it should preserve that then.

In theory, yes.
But you will still need to reconfigure the target project to accept the data, whatever method you use.
In real life, it's going to take you weeks, if not months, to work out exactly what SQL to run to reconfigure your target project correctly, perform all the pre-move data integrity checks, and then move the data safely without destroying your system.
Please, use the "move issue" function in the UI.
