How to Delete/Remove a Listener?

Mark Gordon August 26, 2014

JIRA,

I accidentally added a listener. It happens to be the same one that was in the window but I gave it a differetn name. Thus, I need to delete it. In the Listener Page, under operations, I do not seee anything like Edit/Delete even though JIRA doco says it exists. I am an admin to the setup.. I want to get rid of this thing and see no where of how to do it. Please Help!!!

The one I added was:

Issue Assignment Listener (internal)

com.atlassian.jira.event.listeners.history.IssueAssignHistoryListener

Hi

You can remove it direct from table "listenerconfig" JIRA database.

I think you should restart JIRA also.

I have the same issue, and nowhere to remove it.... I'd really like to know how, if possible to remove it. the Listener I have even keeps throwing exceptions in the jira logs (catalina.out and atlassian-jira.log) *Perforce Job Update Listener* (internal) com.atlassian.jirafisheyeplugin.perforce.listener.JobUpdateListener
