How to Create a Read Only User in Jira7? I found this "pre-jira7" wiki/documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/JIRA+Cloud+-+How+to+Create+a+Read+Only+User. Unfortunately that decsription is no longer correct?

No, it's still correct - create a user who only has browse permissions on the projects you want them to see.  You'll need to remove the general "can log in means you can see all projects" setup in the permission schemes too.
