How to Configure auto response when closing a ticket?

When we close a ticket, the customer recieves an auto-response saying that the ticket is closed. Is there a way to customize when this auto-response contains?

Dear Sid,

The emails that JIRA sends can certainly be editted.. just not that simple. It will require you to edit standard templates which can be found on your server:

However.. you can also buy an add-on for this.. which makes it easier. For example; Email This Issue.
