How does it get completed user stories? By done/green status, last column or workflow?

Hi,

We are having a definition of done in we would like collect the user story points and mark it as when the PO tests the issue in a Pre production environment.

So we created a green status for "Test approved preproduction" in a column called approved to as this is the potential shippable increment to get user story points.

Then we have a last column for "In production" and closed" just to have an overview and control that they have been delivered to production.

The problem is that eventhough the "Test approved preproduction" is set as a green done status the user story points does not seem to be collected in the burn down chart, it seems only when they reach the last column.

So what is the criteria to collect the user story?:

Is it based on green status? or last column of the chart? or last action in the workflow setup?

Hi @Alexander Bøhnsdalen

As Jack said, it's the last column. You would need to have 2 boards, the first one ending with your Test Approved Preproduction status, where you would then be able to "claim" the story points, and another board (even if it's just one column) for your last 2 statuses.
