How do you handle and develop feedback in JIRA?

Jamie Edwards November 25, 2014

I'm interested in hearing how you handle feedback in JIRA.

Separate project?

How do you organise the feedback and turn it into stories/issues for other 'development' projects?

How often do you and how do you "develop" feedback (bucket, consolidate, merge, ask followup questions)?

Hi, Jamie.

As for me, I use Customer Case add-on to organize feedback and turn it into issues for JIRA projects.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/customer-case-for-jira/cloud/overview

Try it. I think it helps you a lot.

Hi Jamie,

Feedbacks are converted into issues at jira.atlassian.com, where we have different projects for different products, and they are reviewed by our Product Managers on a regular basis. You can view our implementation of new features policy at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DEV/Implementation+of+New+Features+Policy

Please note that we do not publish roadmaps, but you can add yourself as a watcher on bugs/improvements you’re interested in so you can get notified on updates.

Cheers,

Jose
