How do you disable Rapid Board detail view?

When I click an issue on an Agile/Green Hopper/Rapid Board, the issue is displayed in a new column -- the Detail View.

We'd like the issue to open full tab, as though a link to the issue were clicked -- especially since the links look like links and this is the expected behavior of a link.

Can the detail column be disabled?

I share the same problem with Mike - The (unwelcome) Detail View insists on popping up the second and subsequent times I move a ticket from one sprint to another.

You could either open the issue in a new tab (CTRL + click) or click on the issue key on top of the detail view...

Or middle click the link in most any browser. But we're looking to disable the column.
