currently users are redirected to JIRA (even if they didnt have access to application). how do redirect all users to confluence immediately after login?
Another way for them to get to Confluence is to have them book mark http://hostname.atlassian.net/wiki this will take them to the Confluence page rather then JIRA. Another way is to edit the host file to redirect one website to another, but in this case you would have to edit each host file to each computer.

We currently do have a open ( accepted ) feature request about this here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-6068
Which URL do your users use to authenticate? If they login using the Confluence URL they should stay in Confluence unless you have defined any redirection rule in your proxy or similar.
