How do I set permissions on groups in JIRA.

Joan Roth October 9, 2013

I have JIRA importing users from AD. All AD users go into a single JIRA group which I want to grant global permissions for JIRA and Confluence. Confluence uses JIRA to manage permissions. How do I do this?

Community Leaders are connectors, ambassadors, and mentors. On the online community, they serve as thought leaders, product experts, and moderators.

In both Jira and Confluence, look at "global permissions". You can grant "can use" to the single Jira group in both applications. As soon as that's in, you'll find anyone in that big group can log into both systems.
