How do I know what project my custom group has access to?

Wendy Thorneloe September 22, 2017

Hi

I created a user group

I added users to this group

In the people tab of some projects I added the custom group as Developer

Where can I see what projects that group has access to?

I don't want to go in each project and see if it has access

Thanks

Wendy

Depending on your setup the project leads can assign users and groups to project roles which have preexisting permissions in the permission scheme of the project OR you need to contact the JIRA admin to find out what permissions they gave the group in the permission scheme(s).

Unfortunaltely, there is no easy way of getting that information. You could checkout this how to article to get the information from the database, assuming you are using on-premise JIRA install, https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-identify-which-groups-have-access-to-a-project-in-jira-884354938.html
