Hi, as a workaround, perhaps you can use categories where each category is a <client name>?

As Azwandi said, the JIRA project names are limited.

As for now, there is no way to turn it off in JIRA Studio. See a related improvement request at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-29056.

For your information, this change was introduced in the recent JIRA as some lengthy project keys and names may break the UI and the usability of the application.

We use <client name> - Project name

Client name can be large for example: Atlassian - Introduction to Jira and other products

As you can see its over the 30 characters but in version 3.1.3 which we have, its unlimited so why is this link this on demand platform?
