How do I hide content on the JIRA "main" issue view screen?

Jim Wilson January 11, 2017

One key to acceptance of JIRA within my organization is the elimination of clutter and indication of errors. The "main" issue view screen has a HipChat section and a Gliffy section. We don't yet use HipChat and the Gliffy section has a warning outlined in a red warning box that reads, "Gliffy license invalid or does not match JIRA license". How do I hide these two sections? By the way, I have configured screens and a screen scheme for this project, but I can't find "HipChat" or "Gliffy" in any configurations.

The panels are system panels, injected by add-ons, not something you

For Gliffy, that won't appear unless you've activated it in your my.Atlassian account (perhaps as a trial?).  You should be remove it there.  HipChat is a bit more built-in - I think you'd need to raise that with https://support.atlassian.com (on server, an admin can shut down the add-on to hide it)
