How do I find all the child issue under an Epic using jira-rest-java-client-core

How do I find all the child issue under an Epic returned from the following

Issue epic = restClient.getIssueClient().getIssue(some-epic-issue-key);

I am not able to find any variables in Issue (com.atlassian.jira.rest.client.api.domain.Issue) that contain any info about child issues..

thanks

Luk

Dear @Luk Lau ,

I am not familiar in details with the Java Rest Client. But finally this client just calls the REST API. The API itself does not offer such kind of functionality.

So to get what you want, you need to query (API /rest/api/2/serach) and pass a JQL that resolves "children of epic". The result will be a JSON array of all matching issues.

So long

Thomas
