How do I disable add-ons in certain projects?

Matt Fysh February 11, 2016

We have an add-on installed that renders a module into the right-hand side of the JIRA view issue screen, however this add-on, and others, are not applicable to all JIRA projects. How can this side panel be disabled at a project-level of granularity?

Hi Matt

Is it a Atlassian marketplace add-on or a custom built add-on.

Most of the top selling addons such as jira-agile, Structure etc can be configured at project level but not all.

If i were you i would go into the admin section of the plugin and see if there is an option to enable/disable a project.

Yes, JIRA does not do this, the add-on has to support the ability to be project specific
