How do I create a filter that displays issues that have been recently commented on?

How can I create a filter which will display those issues that have been commented on in the last 24 hrs?

I don't need to see the comment in the filter and email notifications are not an option (for various reasons).

JQL Tricks Plugin, a commercial one, has a method to get issues where a comment was added in the last 24hrs. You can add absolute or relative dates based on your requirement.
