How do I close a JIRA with no close button?

How do you close a JIRA when there is no option to close the JIRA? We also do not have an option to delete the JIRA. Example attached.

Do you mean a JIRA issue?

That could have two reasons:

  • your issue is in a state where a workflow condition prohibits the closing of the issue
  • you don't have the close issue permission

Deleting a JIRA issue also requires a delete issue permission.

Please check your workflow transition(s) to status close for conditions and your permission scheme (or use the permission helper)
