How do I clear the Sprint value on a cloned issue?

Hi,

Users wanted the Sprint field to be clear when cloning a ticket.  So on the workflow Create transition, I added a post function to the clear the Sprint value.  However, this also clears the Sprint value on a newly created ticket (non-cloned), which we do not want.

Is it possible to create a post function that says clear the Sprint field only if this issue is a clone?  Can this be done without purchasing plugins?  Thanks.

Even I am looking for the same solution where i do not want to clone Impacted application field , which is required Field at the time of creation a field. So basically we want to clone Impacted Application field.
