How do I change this menu option without deleting the project?

I have a service desk project that I don't want to be seen on my HelpDesk screen for my customers. I only want them to be able to select two of the options and not three. Is there a way to remove the third option on this list without deleting the service desk project and making it a software project?

Did you try setup the permission view? 

You can change the permission at project settings:

Step by step:

1. Access the project
2. Click on project settings
3. Click on Permission
4. Verify the permission scheme is NOT shared with others
5. Remove the permission Service Desk Portal ... at browse project

I try it once time and work it.  

And IF the permission scheme is shared with others projects, THEN you need create one permission scheme and add to the project before start the change.
