How do I change Jira/Confluence {{Code Style}} to something more like Slacks?

hangeIt drives me nuts that the code/mono-font used in Jira is black like the rest of the text in the ticket and I can't seem to find a way to change that. I would prefer something more easily distinguished from the surrounding text.

Is there any way to make this simple change? We're running Cloud and prefer not to purchase plugins and if that is the only option available, I guess the way is the way, right?
