How do I auto add email CC to Ticket CC

I have a process setup where an email is automatically generated to JIRA when a specific issue comes up. When the email to JIRA has someone CC'ed I need them to automatically get added to the ticket CC follower group, so they are able to get event updates.

How do I setup JIRA to auto add email CC contacts to tickets?

You'll want to select the "CC Watchers" box when setting up your email handler. See documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Creating+Issues+and+Comments+from+Email#CreatingIssuesandCommentsfromEmail-Mailhandlers

Thank you. I looked at that section of the documentation earlier and was under the impression that would work.
