How can we hide Fields and areas

Hello,

we have a small question and hope that you can help us. We booked the JIRA On Demand Service and need something like the AddOn "Field Security Plugin for JIRA" to "Hide or set read-only custom fields, time tracking details, assignee field for certain users". We want to hide the "Agile" Module and "Time Tracking Fields" for specific user groups.
According to my information is the AddOn not available for On Demmand service. Is this correct?
Maybe you have a alternativ solution we can use on Demand for our concern.

Hi Jan,

you are correct, the Field Security Plugin is not available for Jira OnDemand. I can't tell you if it is possible to hide the "Agile" module. Regarding Time Tracking Fields you could try to give only certain groups permission on Time Tracking (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Project+Permissions). Maybe that helps.
