How can the time from the subtasks be subtracted from the estimate of the task in the time tracking?

Hello,

In the time tracking (time sheet) we currently have a regular overview of epic, tasks and subtasks. Here, the effort of the subtasks should be subtracted from the estimate of the task. This does not work at the moment. Do you have an idea regarding that?

Here is a more detailed description:

Use Case/ Current Behavior:
Our customers buy a pool of hours, which is entered in the task (Estimate). In the subtasks we track the actual effort (e.g. for meetings). These efforts add up and are displayed collectively in the task.
Thus, we have a clear overview in the task, when the hours (Estimate) are reached and a new hour pool must be purchased.

Hierarchy:
- Epic
- Task with an Estimate (Use Case: f. ex. 8hrs)
- Subtasks where we track the time needed (f. ex. 1hr each)

Problem/Need:
In the Timesheet, Epic, Task and Subtask are shown but the problem is that the hours from the Subtask are not subtracted from the Estimate of the Tasks. This is urgently needed from our side.

Do you have any idea how we can do this / what filters we can set?

I've already looked through some older questions (3-5y+) but those seemed not to be helpful for our case. Hope that anyone of you has a solution (best case: a filter setting for example or similar) or another way we can meet our needs.

Thank you a lot

Jana
