How can i make one custom field depend on another custom field?

Hi Team,

I want to create custom field as Drop-Down this field has 2 LOV’s: YES,NO·

If i select “YES”, additional Text field should be displayed to get the Existing task ID.(This text field should be mandatory)

You need some code to do this, to tie the two fields together.

You could try injecting some javascript (hard to maintain, harder to get right and a royal pain most of the time), or use an add-on that can do it.  The one I know of is the "Behaviours" module in the Script Runner.

There are loads of examples here in the community if you search for "custom field depend another"

Can you please let me know the plugin. I have already installed Script runner. I am not able to find the solution. I am using jira6.1.

Please help me in implementing the same.
