Hello Team,
Currently we are using Polarion for requirement and test management and JIRA Software for task management but the problem is that our Polarion is hosted on cloud whereas our JIRA instance is on the data center( in near term we cannot move to cloud due to some internal tool dependencies)
So is it possible to connect my JIRA which is hosted in Data center with the Polarion which is hosted cloud?
If yes, please let me know in detail the per-requisties and steps to do
Thank you!!
Hi @Rajat Krishnan, this app OSLC Connect for Jira (you can download it from the Atlassian Marketplace) can work with Polarion X, but it takes some work. The team at Sodus should be able to help if you're interested.
Hi @Rajat Krishnan I did a quick search on the internet and found a Polarion Connector for Jira that you might want to look into further. It appears you can contact Siemens/Polarion to get further information on that integration.
Hope that helps

Hello @Dan Breyen
Thanks for your response, but I am already aware of Polarion connector for Jira but my question is can we connect JIRA with Polarion if My hosting is different? i.e. Jira Datacenter + Polarion Cloud?
Thank you

From what I see on this page, I don't see them explicitly saying that it won't work, as they support both Jira Data Center (Server) and Cloud.
You could check with Polarion Support to get clarification if you'd like.
There is some compatibility with specific versions of Jira Data Center listed there as well. You may need to update one or both products. That's all listed on that page.
