How can i add read only lable on screen

How can i add read only Lable on screen ,at the time of choose field type ,i have selecetd "Lable" option but its giving me text fiels as well. i just want to display on line message on screen,

please let me know the field type

Labels are enterable fields for users to enter arbitrary... well... labels.

Your options are to add descriptions to fields, or add a plugin that provides "message" fields. The Jira Toolkit plugin does this.

You didn't read what Nic said. You need to use Message Custom Field type which comes from JIRA toolkit
