If you are a user, how can you tell if JIRA has been rolled back?  Does it revert back to the default color scheme?

I'd hope your administrators tell you that they've restored a backup!

If not, then look at the version in the page footer.

Let's assume the admin didn't tell you.  You also don't remember what version you were on before so looking at the footer doesn't provide any information.  Is there a way that the user can tell just by looking at the interface that a rollback has occurred?

It depends - has the user has taken notes of what might have changed?

No, the question is simply - how can a user note there was a roll back without being an admin.  Does the theme colors revert back to default, does an email get sent out to the users by the system, etc.

No, it rolls back to whatever the administrator backed up and then restored.

To identify that without the admin telling you, you must have taken note of something that has changed when you went forward and then reverted when it changed back.
