How can a jira administrator delete all the subscriptions defined by other users?

Hi,

As JIRA administrator I need to delete all the subscriptions created by users because they overload our JIRA instance by launching filters very often and sending a lot of notifications.

Any idea?

Regards,

If the filters are private, you can delete them only via database.

Actually, no.  You this is possible without database hacks, you can also use the SU addon to become that user, then delete their filters as you are that user.

I'll test it! Thanks!

If those filters are shared, you can find them under Shared Filters and delete them. If the filters are private, you can delete them only via database.

Thanks Jobin, they are subscriptions over not shared filters. Do you know which is the query to be launched?

On the UI, you will have to look at the filters to see if they are subscribed or not. Easier option would be to go to the DB directly!
