How can I translate the service desk ?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Best practices for IT teams using JIRA Service Desk

hello,

I have installed service desk on our jira.

But I would like translate several elements but I don't found how :

1°) On this page:

https://itelios-sas.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1

On the search bar, there is a text : What do you need help With ? ==> how can I translate this ?

2°) On this page:

https://itelios-sas.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/create/1

There is summarize problem, Description, attachment ... ==> How can I translate this ?

Hello, this post is quite old; however, I recently came across this same issue, and would like to detail how we managed to solve it in our Org:

 

Our Company is based in Mexico, so 99% of our internal customers & team members speak Spanish natively.

We found that keeping the JSM project with a default Language set to English, and using the translations combined with the Customer portal Language setting, created the best experience, with less Admin overhead:

 

Jira Service Management project configuration

  1. Login to your Jira instance, navigate to your service project.
  2. In the left sidebar, slick click on project settings
  3. Once in project settings, click on Language support
  4. Under Language support, click on Add LanguagesLanguage support.png
  5. On the modal that appears, select the Languages you wish to add to your JSM project, by clicking on the checkboxes, then click the Add button
  6. Once added, you can see it in the Language support screen, and can also manage translations for Portal & Request Type content, among other options by clicking on the Language name in the left sidebarPasted Graphic.pngTranslations from.png
  7. Setup all translations relevant to your JSM project

Customer Portal configuration

  1. In the Customer portal, click on the User icon on the top right, and click on ProfilePasted Graphic 6.png
  2. In the Profile page, change Language from Automatically detect browser setting, to the desired LanguagePasted Graphic 8.png
  3. Click on Save
  4. Refresh the Customer portal page, and you will then see it in the selected languagePasted Graphic 11.png
  5. Finally, you can create a PDF guide or Confluence page, detailing the steps to change the Customer portal Language, for your Users.

 

I know this is a long post, I hope this information can help any other Admins out there in the Community!

Au temps pour moi... Comme quoi, la fatigue n'aide pas...

Alors, pour changer les champs, va sur:

Administration > Projets > Types de requêtes 

Puis, sur le type de requêtes souhaitée, "Modifier les champs"

Et voilà, aussi simple que ça!

 

Désolé d'avoir mis autant de temps à percuter...

Ah, bon, tu es française, j'avais commencé à rédiger un guide pratique pour l'utilisation de JIRA Service Desk. Bien qu'incomplet, tu  devrais trouver les informations que tu recherches. 

 

N'hésites pas à revenir vers moi si cela n'est toujours pas clair!

Mais ca ne me dit pas comment je peux traduire les éléments des screenshots envoyés

C'est vraiment bizarre... J'ai ça chez moi 

Peut être en changeant la langue d'indexation, ou en re-indexant ton instance Jira...

Désolée mais j'ai été très occupée dernièrement.
les fields peuvent bien être traduits mais pas les labels dont je te parlais sur le portail.
de plus, je ne sais pas comment faire pour traduire le champ Attachment ou Summary.

Furthermore, we can't access at your ServiceDesk without a login smile
