We love using the Greenhopper agile boards planning mode for taking work from concept to detailed plans.
But we need to output it in a document form for discussion with non-technical managers (our boss, and our clients).
We want to export an epic with its associated stories and sub tasks nested inside. We want this to be in a document, not a table format (ie similar to what one sees in the form view, but with all the detail of linked items included)
What are our options?
I have seen xml and excel exporting, which don't come close.

Try the Intelligent Reports plugin. It lets you design the template in Microsoft Word, and fill in the data including linked isses, etc. with simple powerful point and click rules.
