How can I link my Fisheye/Crucible server with my JIRA cloud instance?

My company uses a JIRA hosted by Atlassian and I've recently set up a Fisheye/Crucible server to let us do pre-commit code reviews. Now I'd like to link these guys together, but they don't want to play.

Things I've tried:

  • Creating an application link in the crucible server.
  • Creating an application link from our JIRA.

The links get created, so far as the administrative interface is concerned, but when one tries clicking on an issue ID in a crucible review, one gets a popup window that claims that JIRA is unreachable...even though one has that same issue open in another browser tab. I wonder, is there a special port that needs to be open, or is there some special URL that needs to be provided when creating the application link?
