We had an old Jira versión and we want to import the old workflows to the new Jira Cloud. I've searched for a solution in google and there are a oficial Jira tutorial that explains this:
Log in as a user with the JIRA System Administrators global permission.
Choose > Issues. Select Workflows to open the Workflows page, which displays all of the workflows in your system.
Click the Import from XML button to open the Import Workflow dialog box.
But I dont have the "Import from XML Button" and I dont find this option
I would like to know if it's posible to do this,
Thanks you,
Miguel
Hi Miguel,
the tutorial is valid for a Jira Server istance.
It is currently not possible to directly import a workflow in Jira Cloud due to the restrictions that you can read here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/restricted-functions-in-jira-cloud-applications-776636921.html
However, you can use this workaround: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-import-a-workflow-into-a-jira-cloud-application-779160755.html

Raffaele
