How can I get project administrator permission?

Christopher Kondov August 7, 2014

I am currently a project lead for the project and the project administrator has resigned. I have been told to get project administrator permission as I need to add new project versions and other related tasks. My question is how can I get project administrator permission?

Ask to your JIRA System Administrator.

You should discuss with the Jira administrator, how permissions are given and used in your project. Regarding the possibility to add new versions or in general to handle the roadmap, normally this should be shared by several project team members.

But there is quite more around the Jira administration. In order to get a project administrator you should also check what do you should be able to do yourself and what kind of permissions you need for that.
