How can I filter all the issues that belong to epics by the epic parent (which is a feature)

leyna_rottboll November 20, 2020

I have created:

1.0.0 Feature (parent of all epics)

     1.1.0 Epic

          1.1.1 Story

          1.1.2 Story

     1.2.0 Epic

          1.2.1 Story

          1.2.2 Story

     1.3.0 Epic

          1.3.1 Story

          1.3.2 Story

I want to filter the board to show all the issues that are under the hierarchy of this specific Feature without having to filter by epics because there are way too many.

Hi @leyna_rottboll

How are the Epics linked to the Features?

Is this using linked issues? Or a hierarchical configuration (such as Advanced Roadmaps)?

Hi @Stephen Wright _Elabor8_ thank you so much for reaching out!

Here's a screenshot.  I want to filter the board to only show the stories/subtasks/defects that belong to the epics that are children of RR-3489.

I've been trying Parent Link but it doesn't work.

So if there were 10 children epics to RR-3489 and each had 10 issues I could just use RR-3489 to only show those 100 issues on the board.
