How can I delete a partially-completed Link Application?

I was partway through creating a new Application Link in JIRA and got called away.  When I returned to complete the link, I neglected to click the "Create incoming link" checkbox, which prevents me from completing the other end of the link process.  I tried to delete the link so that I can start over, but when I click the Confirm button in the delete modal, nothing happens.

If someone else has this problem, the solution is described in  this KB article , which says:

in Google Chrome:

1. Right Click on the "Confirm" button
2. Inspect Element
3. In the HTML, remove the disabled="true" parameter for the button object
4. Click on confirm
