How can I customise dashboard / wallboard widget styles in Jira?

I'm using the Jira Wallboard plugin & loving it (how could you not) and have come across a situation where I'd like to represent some data using the dashboard Pie Chart gadgets, but they render on a white background even on the wallboard.

Am I able to customise the pie chart to provide an inverted colour scheme so it works on the wallboard? Are there any wallboard-compatible pie chart plugins out there? Any other workarounds?

As far as I'm aware, this is not currently available via any Admin screen/etc.

This is similar to this question: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/116465/wallboard-background-colour . I believe the answer will work for what you are trying to do.

you may download the jar file of the plugin to you local machine, extract it and modify "style/wallboad.css"
then you need to make a jarfile of it again and upload to you jira..
but i am not sure if this will work
