How can I change the priority symbol to a number?

My backlog used to display with the priority number.  It has now changed to the symbol, which does not work for us.  It is a new project, but I thought I was using all of the schemes as I used on the last project.  

Any help?

Priority is a global field, so any change to it will affect everyone.  But if you go to admin -> issues -> priorities, you'll be able to upload any image you want (so find some simple icons showing numbers.  I tend to look for ones that match the colours too)
