How can I automatically add Watchers to Bugs in Jira Cloud on moving issue from one project to ano?

Mariia Boiko Apr 19, 2019

Dear Jira guru, I've managed to setup automatic watchers adding on creating an issue, thank you for all the comments here

But I'm struggling with the next problem:

  • issue is created in a project where I don't need the watchers
  • when move the issue to the project where I want to add the watchers the dummy watchers field is filled properly, but real watcher are not updated

Any ideas are highly appreciated.

@Mariia Boiko What does the real "Watchers" field show in your target project when you move this issue?

Mariia Boiko Apr 19, 2019

@Taranjeet Singh  It shows creator, basically it stays without changes after moving, in other words users from the dummy fields are not applied
