How can I add "color/icon" to make priority of tasks more visual?

Jón Trausti December 4, 2017

Hi guys,

I used to have the priority column, in Jira ( for each task ) show small icon ( dots ) like: yellow, green, RED, ... so I could see visually what was most urgent ( RED ) ....but now I cant ..

Can I do this, with your help or can I do it my self?

Ps. I need to be able to have Domain field fill out automaticly, it used to work like that, but then it stopped..  Can any of you specialist help me ( Im willing to pay for assistance ) ..

thank you :)

Hi @Jón Trausti,

You can display the "Priority" column on your filter results page and in dashboards so the icon shows in those views.

Also, each priority has an icon and color you can change.  In the Jira Admin UI, click Issues > Priorities and then click the "Edit" link next to each of the priority line items.

Is this what you mean?

Hope this helps,

Also, I took a look at your other issue mentioned in your "PS."  (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-can-I-make-each-domain-task-field-copy-from-domain-root/qaq-p/682830)  I think the Community will need more information to assist you on that question.  On that question's page, can you add some screenshots?  Also, can you specify if you're using Jira Cloud or Jira Server?

Can you change the colours of the icons?

I'm changing the priority colour (as above) but the arrows stay the same colour as before, the colours I've picked don't appear anywhere.
