I'm not sure if it's my instance of JIRA (v7.2.3) or the normal behaviour but under the More menu on a JIRA task is a long list of menu items to create a task for each available issue type in the project.

e.g.

More

  • Create Parent Task
  • Create Software Task
  • Create Software Bug
  • Create Subtask Type 1
  • Create Subtask Type 2

and then it continues with the normal menu.

Some of my projects have a lot of task types so this gets really long.

I've really struggled to find any documentation or help about this.

So does anyone know how I can turn this off? Is it the default behaviour or maybe a plugin?

For info I traced this to one of our plugins WBS Gantt Chart - and disabled the Create child ticket - Top in Operation bar item
