Hipchat notifications and Jira Agile

Jira Agile Simplified Workflow has no transitions other than one. Maybe the hipchat addon should use something else than transitions for the integration. Any solutions other than modifying the work flow and adding transitions?

Go2Group has a free Hipchat plugin in marketplace that works for workflows as well as issue events. You have the option to pick selected events per project as well.

The plugin also gives an additional "Announcement" feature. See if it is useful.

I believe that Hipchat are triggered from the workflow and no where else.
