Hi @Bandaru Chandu

Yes it's possible to upgrade, you may to check the supported platforms of 8.5 version like DB version to have that kind of setup. Also check the upgrade notes here https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-8-5-x-upgrade-notes-976781036.html

As @Kurt Klinner suggested it's better to upgrade to 8.20 LTS(Long term support) version.

Hi Bandaru

welcome to the Atlassian community.

The switch from 7.12 to 8.5 is possible, but as it is a major change you will need to carefully review the upgrade notes. May i ask why you not upgrade to a later LTS version?

Cheers

Kurt
