Help! Could I assign issue's field on email content if create issue from email?


I have set up configuration on "Incoming Mail" and it could create issue from email now. It will regard email's subject as issue's summary and email's content as issue's description when create an issue on JIRA. Here are some problems:

  1. It would also add signature on email into issue's description, could we filter out email signature when create an issue?
  2. It could only fill field "summary" and "description" of issue in JIRA according to email, could I assign other fields in the email?

Email This Issue has a mail handler that can initialize issue fields form email content. It can also execute workflow transitions.
