Having trouble configuring JIRA and Confluence

1 - Cant get Confluence to display JIRA issues.

2 - Not sure how to get main issue view to display custom field.

Hey Juan,

In order to have Confluence to display JIRA issues, first you will have to configure an application link between JIRA and Confluence. Hence if there's no application link configured yet, you may try to create one via Administration > Application Link, and specify Confluence Base URL. As for having custom fields to be displayed in the Issue View screen, then perhaps can you kindly check if the custom field is mapped to the screens associated to the Issue View Operation?

And also, you have to ensure that the field must be populated with some values, or else it won't appear in the View Issue screen.
